Before you commit to a rental, you need to see it in person. Makao Match lets you schedule property visits directly with owners, no phone tag needed.
How to Request a Visit
- Go to any active listing you're interested in
- Click "Schedule Visit"
- Pick your preferred date and time
- Add a message (optional but recommended, introduce yourself!)
- Hit Send Request
What Happens Next
- The property owner gets an instant email notification
- They can accept, reject, or reschedule from their Property Calendar
- You'll see the status update in your Visit Requests tab
- If accepted, you'll have the confirmed date, time, and owner's contact details
Visit Tips
- Schedule visits during daytime to properly inspect the property
- Propose weekday mornings for less competition and more time with the owner
- Check water pressure, power sockets, phone signal while you're there
- Ask the caretaker about water supply reliability and security
- Take photos and notes, you'll forget details if you're viewing multiple places
